This Privacy Policy describes how KnoxSphere Backup Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our backup and cloud sync software and related services available at https://backups.charmjay.lk.

Depending on how the software is deployed and configured, we may process:
- Database backup files created from systems you authorize
- Backup metadata such as timestamps, file names, sizes, and job status
- Account and authentication information for administrators and authorized users
- Cloud provider tokens when you connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive for backup upload
- Technical logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service

- Create, store, encrypt, and optionally upload backups you schedule
- Authenticate users and enforce access controls
- Monitor backup jobs and provide operational history

Cloud providers
If you enable cloud sync, backup files are uploaded only to the cloud account you connect. Access is granted through the provider's OAuth consent flow and can be revoked in the provider's account settings or within the application.
Data retention
Backup files and logs are retained according to your configured retention settings and operational requirements. You are responsible for configuring retention that meets your legal and business needs.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect backup data, including encryption of backup files and protection of credentials and tokens using platform security features.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data only with service providers necessary to operate the software, when required by law, or with your direction (for example, uploading backups to your connected cloud storage).
Your choices
You may disconnect cloud providers, adjust retention, request access to information we hold about your use of the service, or ask us to delete data where applicable by contacting us.
